- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
- salt and black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- (optional toppings: toasted sesame seeds, thinly-sliced green onions)
Mix together the hoisen, rice wine vinegar and soy sauce in a small bowl.
Wash shrimp and pat dry with a paper towel. Season Shrimp with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a large suate pan heat the oil over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp in two batches, so each bath just layers the bottom of the pan in one layer. cook until all shrimp are pink, about 2-3 minutes. Set aside with a slotted spoon.
Once the second set of shrimp are cooked, add the first bath back to the pan with the hoisen sauce mixture. saute together for 1-2 minutes until each shrimp is evenly coated and sauce is heated completely.
Remove from heat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onion. Serve with quinoa, rice, noodles or veggies! Yumm
